My name is Larissa Foester. I am a 21-year-old student from Germany, now being on an Erasmus exchange to Helsinki. Besides studying, I work for an health care company in Germany. I like to go swimming and to play the flute in an orchestra in my free time.
Now that I am studying in Helsinki at Haaga-Helia, I have the chance to attend courses that differ from my General Management Studies in Germany. One of those courses is Creative Corporate and Marketing Communications. I started this blog for this course to prepare for the tutorials and to share my thoughts about it. This is my first blog and I am really curious about blogging.
Our first "assignment" is to prepare a small, one-minute, video-resume. Although I had to apply for my job two years ago, I am unexperienced with video-CVs. In Germany, they are not that popular and the traditional letter of application and CV are preferred. However, I am quite convinced that the importance of video-resumes will grow, especially in the creative sectors.
